The GSC Power-Division Conical Valve Spring Kit with Titanium Retainer for the Nissan VR38DET comes complete with 24 titanium retainers, 24 conical valve springs, and 24 valve spring shims. Conical valve springs, although not a new concept, have proven themselves in the industry, offering several key advantages over traditional spring designs.

One of the primary benefits of conical springs compared to cylindrical or beehive springs is their superior ability to dampen and eliminate valvetrain harmonics.
